I just got a really cool from t-shirt chris (simpsons artist). As well as a drawing, my name in a heart, some felt and some string! Top stuff.

The poor mans chopper, brutalised b8 on an old xs20, for some tasty white noise fun!
I’ve refined my set up a bit for recording, less toms just makes everything a bit easier, I’m keeping one rack because I’m not quite feeling the floor tom only thing that everyone seems to be doing
In times without sticky notes, use plasters!
Here’s a cheeky view from above, that 13” tom on the floor is usually used as part of a 1 up 1 down set up when I fancy a change!
Drums are all Ludwig Epics: 14” Snare, 10” and 12” Rack toms, 16” Floor (classic)
Cymbals are: 14” Ufip Class hats, 16” Zildjian A medium crash, 18” Sabian AAX metal crash, and a 20” Zildjian K something from the late 90s which is fucking heavy!
Also take note of the Evans EMAD Onyx bass batter head, the greatest head I have ever used, eliminates the need for pillows and sounds incredible!
We (Big Beat Manifesto) should be embarking on an exciting musical adventure in the next few weeks, it’s going to be an EP recorded on a budget in a garage and thus will be so lo-fi it is only audible when played through the speakers of a phone manufactured before 2006.
That picture is a proposed ‘album cover’, it’s a frankfurter in front of Cyndi Lauper. It’s just a cool picture from one of the bands regular “weiner fests”.
Thought it was about time I got some use out of this tumblr account and shameless advertising is just about the best use I can think of, keep an eye out for some progress posts in the next few weeks!
